At Liberty Justice For All, we believe that housing is a right, not a privilege. That's why we're passionate about promoting and protecting the principles of the Fair Housing Act of 1968. This landmark legislation ensures that no one can be discriminated against when it comes to finding a place to call home. Whether it's race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, or national origin, we firmly believe that everyone deserves equal opportunities in housing, because democracy starts at home.
At Liberty Justice For All, we believe in a society where equality and freedom thrive. Unfortunately, discrimination still plagues our world, hindering progress and stifling voices. From racial discrimination to gender inequality, there are various types of discrimination that we must tackle head-on. Whether it's ageism, ableism, or religious discrimination, we are committed to educating, advocating, and communicating about these issues, as we strive for a future where every individual is treated with dignity and respect. Join us in the fight for a truly democratic world.
The statewide Fair Housing ombudsman is a resource for renters and landlords to utilize to understand their rights and responsibilities. The ombudsman will informally answer questions and act as a mediator to help find an answer that both parties can accept.
